Ok, let’s try this again: ARCA Doubleheader at Fairgrounds Postponed; General Tire Music City 200 Reset for Sunday at 1 pm CT

Originally scheduled for a 9 pm ET/8 pm CT green flag on Saturday night, the General Tire Music City 200 presented by Inspectra Thermal Solutions will now be moved to Sunday afternoon with the green flag expected at 2 pm ET/1 pm CT.

The ARCA Menards Series teams were able to get practice in among periods of inclement weather on Saturday. Per the ARCA Menards Series rule book, the starting lineup for the General Tire Music City 200 will be set by practice speeds with Chandler Smith on the General Tire Pole with a lap of 19.349 seconds/110.889 miles per hour. Ty Gibbs will start alongside on the front row with Christian Eckes, Bret Holmes, and Michael Self rounding out the remainder of the top five starters.

The field for the North/South Shootout 100 for the ARCA/CRA Super Series, Southern Super Series and CARS Tour super late models was lined up and ready for the command to fire engines when the rains moved in. That race will now be run following the conclusion of the Music City 200. A total of 35 teams were pre-entered with youngster Connor Okrzesik fastest in Friday afternoon’s practice session, while Scotty Tomasik will start from the pole for the 100-lapper.

Tickets are still available for the General Tire Music City 200 presented by Inspectra Thermal Solutions at the Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville box office. The race will be televised live on MAVTV. ARCARacing.com will have live timing & scoring, track updates, and live chat for ARCA for Me members.
