“The State of New York has made a 10-year commitment to Super DIRT Week to keep the event in Central New York,” DIRTcar CEO Brian Carter said. “We are excited to announce today Central New York Raceway Park in Hastings will be the new home for Super DIRT Week after this year’s ‘Finale at the Fairgrounds.’”

The joint announcement today at the fairgrounds, where the gates open next Wednesday for this year’s event, is the next step in a plan between Super DIRT Week and the State of New York to move the event to a new, state-of-the-art facility that is currently under construction about 20 minutes north of Syracuse.

“After next week’s 44th NAPA Super DIRT Week, our team is looking forward to the challenge of bringing Super DIRT Week, the Super DIRTcar Series and its fans to a brand new venue,” Carter said. “We are eager for our entire staff, from ticketing to operations, to begin working on next year’s event as soon as the checkered flag waves on this year’s Syracuse 200.”

Sean Corr will be piloting his 2015 Shelby Mustang Sunday at Syracruse Fairgrounds for the final Dirt Week that will be run at this venue. Corr, who is a veteran dirt car driver and owner of Empire Racing Group will run for the win at the one mile track.
