Sean Corr Ties Career-Best Finish at Talladega Superspeedway
Empire Racing Group Driver Finished Fifth in General Tire 200
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 17, 2016) – Empire Racing Group’s driver Sean Corr tied his career-best finish in the ARCA Racing Series when he finished fifth in the General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway on Friday, April 29. Corr, a 31-year-old Goshen, N.Y. native, finished 17th during the series’ only practice session on Friday. He would go on to qualify his No. 48 Nesco-Support of Troops Ford seventh for the race. Corr’s racing experience would prove to be extremely valuable in the General Tire 200, as he managed the field with ease as tensions rose later in the race, avoiding a last-lap wreck to finish fifth at the superspeedway. The result ties Corr’s 2013 career-best finish when he placed fifth at Daytona International Speedway
