Empire Racing is ready for Daytona with new changes!
This Saturday at 1:30 pm will be the Lucas Oil 200 ARCA Menards series race, the 12th starts in ARCA at Daytona for Sean Corr. His first race at Daytona behind an ARCA car was in 2010, two years later, Sean was starting on the pole. In 2019 he finished 5th and his best finish was 4th in 2020. Corr always performs well on superspeedways like Pocono, Daytona, or Talladega. He showed his talent again during the practice session back in January, where he clocked the 4th time (49.311) on Friday and the 11th time (49.540) for the whole weekend on 56 cars. “I feel excited to be in this new car with our throwback paint scheme bringing us back to 2008” Sean stated, it’s the year he won the Pro Stock Dirt Week in Syracuse. He feels confident to bring back a solid finish again this year.
The ARCA Menards Series team, Empire Racing Group, LLC, and Grumpy’s Performance Inc. have launched a foundation to help raise funds and awareness for Prader-Willi Syndrome, which affects children and their ability to function daily. To show their support, Empire and Grumpy’s Performance will recognize them on the No. 8 Chevrolet of driver Sean Corr and the No. 45 Chevrolet teammate Rich Bickle in in the Daytona race.
He will again be sponsored by Nesco Bus and Trucks Sales this year. Coincidentally, they were also sponsoring on Sean’s 2008 Super Dirt Week car which is the throwback theme race car for Daytona.
