Ross “Boo boo” Dalton Making ARCA Debut With Empire Racing Group For Southern National 200 This Saturday.

Mooresville, NC., June 8, 2021- ARCA East debut set for local track standout Ross “Boo boo” Dalton on Saturday June 12 at Southern National Motorsports Park (SNMP) in the Southern National 200 in Kenley, NC. Dalton will drive the #8 Ford for Empire Racing Group.

Dalton, a Liberty, NC native has been racing since 2009 and has an impressive record of 7 track championships at local tracks including Ace Speedway, Caraway and Orange County. With approximately 120 career wins including wins and a second place finish in the points championship at SNMP in 2018.

Excited about this opportunity, Dalton says, “I have never ran anything other than a late model type car and to have this opportunity in an ARCA car is unbelievable. And for it to be at a track I have had a little success at makes me feel a little more comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone.”

Empire Racing Competition Director, Mike “Grumpy” Cheek says, “I am excited for Boo boo to drive for us, this was a local effort that several local partnerships helped put together. It’s a big deal to give a local stand out talent a shot in this caliber of race in the ARCA Series. He has an impressive driving resume and deserves this opportunity.”

The Southern National 200 in Kenley, NC is set to drop the green flag at 8pm on Saturday June 12, 2021.
